You might be thinking that the people of Arlington have been quiet and peaceful lately. You could not possibly be more wrong. The last three weeks have contained so much self righteous umbrage that I could not keep up. The topic which nearly tore the town apart? Leaf blowers. Again. I know.
Luckily, this lady posted the sort of request which blows away (get it? leaf blowers? never mind.) the pettiness of landscape politics. I bet that in Portlandia you can rent a free-range, organic, holistic recumbent bike.
"My brother in law is coming for a visit from Seattle on Thursday, and we'd like to get a recumbent bike for him to ride while he's here. We've tried the bike shops in the area and so far no luck. They sell recumbents but they don't rent them.
Would any of you know of a place in this part of the 'burbs that rents recumbents? Or, would any of you have a recumbent we could rent from you or borrow?"
