Dear Arlington Police

One of the best parts of life in Arlington is reading the Police Log from its amazing newspaper, The Arlington Advocate. Here's a sample.

"7:22 p.m. police were dispatched to Mass. Ave. to investigate a report counterfeit money being used at Arlington Shell. The station attendant said he received a counterfeit $20 bill while he was busy dispensing fuel and didn’t realize it was a fake. It came from a white man in his 20s, who was short and thin, driving a Toyota Tundra pick-up truck. Officers called the secret service and left a message on their answering machine about the incident. Police are reviewing surveillance footage, and an agent from the secret service subsequently returned the call."

The craziest thing about this story? The secret service apparently have an answering machine. Just like my grandmother.
